Managing Projects & Retainers

Most fractional work runs on retainers. Fractional Tools makes it easy to set up projects with monthly or custom retainer amounts.

• Projects: Each client engagement gets its own project. Add a name, rate, and optional retainer cap
• Retainers: Set a monthly retainer amount. The system tracks hours against it and shows you how much is used vs. remaining
• Multiple projects per client: If one client has several engagements, create separate projects and group them under the same client

The weekly scoreboard and activity center give you a clear view of retainer burn rate, so you never overshoot or undersell. You'll always know where you stand with each client.
